It arrived in perfect condition, the color is quite striking but I'd say elegant (?); I recommend pairing this jacket with a belt at the waist (maybe one from the NVA too...) to cinch it in. The patch is quite interesting, and the coat itself is very, VERY warm. You could probably go outside in -5°C wearing this jacket over just a t-shirt and be fine. It fits me very well (size G48) and I'll probably buy another one if they're still available afterwards.

These jackets are made of tough material and are in great condition. I am 175cm and a M fit me well. The jacket has an inner and outer layer plus a removable insulated vest.

This is the real deal Lowe Alpine made in Vietnam. Other editions made after that were not LA were heavier. This is light (maybe 600D?) but very tough fabric and comfortable. You can adjust harness for different torso lengths for additional comfort and securing loads better. The early models had the side bags (have heard them called bread bags or baguettes) with zipper top to bottom but these newer productions have the zipper bottom to top. There will always be about an inch "unzipped" at the top but it will not unzip itself all the way and does not affect load carriage. Its more of a visual annoyance than anything. You can take the two side bags and make a small daypack or assault pack after you zip them off the main pack. There is a shoulder harness on each one that is hidden when they are zipped up. I paid for new and that is what I got, brand spanking new in bag. Happy with purchase and look forward to putting this bag through its paces. Pic has zlite foam mattress pad along side bag for scale.
